Certified Dare to Lead™ Trained
We have had such a resounding response to our initial program and keep hearing that you want more! A deeper dive into the concepts covered in Dare to Lead™ program one.
Dare to Lead™ is based on research from Brené Brown and focuses on developing brave leaders and courageous cultures. Phillip Ralph, Managing Director of The Leadership Sphere, is a Certified Dare to Lead™ Facilitator. We have extended the standard curriculum to cover common leadership challenges faced in Australia.
The Advanced Dare to Lead™ program is delivered to those who have already completed their Dare to Lead™ training, and includes a series of virtual workshops with break-out sessions. You get direction from Certified Dare to Lead™ Facilitator Phillip Ralph, with support from our long-time Dare to Lead™ collaborator, Felicity Waterford.
During the Dare to Lead™ online program you will gain clarity about who you are as a leader and integrate more courage, strength, and bravery into the way you lead yourself and others. Yes, the results are life changing when you dare to lead!

The most significant learning within the Dare to Lead™ program is that courage is a collection of four skill sets that are teachable, measurable and observable. The Dare to Lead™ program focuses on developing these courage-building skills through workshops, trainings, and coaching to help individuals, teams, and organisations move from armoured leadership to daring leadership.
“You will be challenged to become a more vulnerable leader, to lead with values, build trust and rise above setbacks.”
The Advanced Dare to Lead™ virtual program includes a series of 5 x fortnightly virtual sessions all supported by an organised structure of self-assessment, self-learning, habit-building, and online leadership tools, to maximise participant leadership development.

“The program provides such in-depth consideration of Brene Brown’s work. It gave perspective to the content but also drives you to continue to consider other ways and concepts that you may not have considered before. The group size means that you have opportunity to share and learn from others whilst also being able to work independently on the areas you want to. Highly recommend it!”
“I found the Dare to Lead training incredibly valuable. The program is thought provoking and challenging at times in ways that encourages awareness and growth on different levels, and from this explores how we as individuals can build courage and then lead from it. The facilitators guided us through the material with compassion, understanding and insight and confirmed that we can never stop learning about ourselves and how we interact with the world. The group created a safe environment to explore issues of trust and courage and to unpack the stories we tell ourselves which keep us stuck or small. It was a wonderful and valuable experience that I highly recommend.”
“Phillip Ralph and the team at The Leadership Sphere run some of the best leadership development programs here in Australia and the recent Dare to Lead program was one of the best programs I have been a part of. Well structured, excellent content, and an amazing group of people on the program. Over the eight weeks of this virtual program I have transformed some key areas of my life and integrated new approaches to leadership at work and at home. A huge shout out to Phil and the team for running such high quality leadership programs and for having such a profound impact on those who were involved. I highly recommend the Dare to Lead program to individuals and groups who want to transform the workplace culture and have a passion for building high trust organisations!”
Take time out to re-connect with yourself as a leader
You are probably thinking to yourself, when was the last time I took time out of my busy day to day personal and professional life, to reconnect with myself and spend time reflecting on what matters most, and that is you as a leader!
Be brave in ways you have never been before
You will explore bravery as an individual and a leader and get a deeper understanding about brave leadership being the willingness to act during times of uncertainty, to do what is right over what is easy, and to risk falling short in the process.
Find courage when things get tough
You will explore courage through a new lens and walk away with new ways of building courageous cultures that enable us to be brave, have tough conversations and create an environment where people can share their thoughts openly with others.
Integrate your unique values into day-to-day life
You will work on yourself and explore what is most important to you as a person and as a leader and reinforce that values-based leadership is about living and leading with values that direct and motivate others to do their best and that inspires everyone to contribute to the greater good.
Re-establish trust with yourself and others
You will undertake due diligence into what makes you angry or shuts you down (yes this happens to all of us!) and understand the connection with feelings such as worry, guilt, and shame. A connection is then made with what it takes to build a high trust organisation where we can confidently rely on ourselves and others to do the right thing.
Relearn the importance of self-compassion and empathy
What you will find is that self-compassion is often lacking when it comes to the fast-paced world we live in. You will learn techniques to be more understanding of yourself and others and the power of empathy, as you become more aware that everyone is doing the best we can as we learn about life!
