FAQs
What level of knowledge and skills do your facilitators have?
Our consultants, facilitators, and coaches are all carefully selected, trained, and accredited. Everyone we work with is aligned with our values and brings them into the dealings they have with clients. There is little doubt that because we find the right fit and build authentic, trusting relationships with our clients, we can be more effective in a shorter period of time.
What methodology do you use in your leadership development programs?
Our proprietary methodologies are based on the latest research and experience from leading consultants around the world. We also invest heavily in our own professional development to keep abreast of relevant case studies, new processes and empirical research. You can find more information on the relevant programs and services pages.
What leadership development programs do you offer?
We offer many different programs and pride ourselves in partnering with each organisation to tailor the best approach to deliver your desired outcomes and meet your needs. Our most popular program for team development is our High Performance Teams program. Our most popular program for cohorts that are not necessarily ‘intact’ teams is our Leadership Excellence program.
What is the difference between the Leadership Excellence and High Performance Teams programs?
High Performance Teams is designed to drive high performance for an ‘intact’ team with a common focus, such as a divisional leadership group.
Leadership Excellence drives leadership excellence for individuals from different parts of a business to create leadership ‘norms’ and behaviours across a company, not within a team.
Both programs can be tailored for different levels of leadership, from frontline supervisors to senior executives.
Can you tailor a program for our team?
Most definitely! We love partnering with you to design and develop the most appropriate program for your organisation. We have delivered almost everything you can imagine and we draw on our experience to fully customise all our offerings.
How is feedback collected from leadership development programs?
We routinely measure the level of satisfaction with our services and benchmark what we do against agreed objectives. We encourage clients to think about outcomes in terms of their people development and business goals rather than just the easier “feel-good” measures after a program.
What are the risks of engaging external leadership development consultants?
When prospective clients express caution about engaging outside consultants, facilitators, and coaches it is usually due to previous experience with providers who:
- over-promise and under-deliver
- are difficult to deal with OR
- failed to identify a mismatch between their skills and client needs
You have the right to adopt a prudent approach and consider associated risks.
Our clients tell us regularly that they engage with us because we are a “safe pair of hands.” We are able to challenge appropriately, not just tell you what we think you need to hear.
How do I know you have the right coach for me?
We have a robust method of selecting the right coach for each person, including but not limited to a pre-coaching survey and interview with one of our team, or a chemistry check – a short meeting with our proposed coach, to ensure they feel like the right fit for you. We will never force you to start or continue coaching with someone who doesn’t meet your needs.
What is the difference between a 360-degree survey and a profiling tool?
360-degree surveys give a full overview of your leadership style – you complete your own evaluation on yourself and also select colleagues to evaluate you on the same questions.
An individual profiling tool is a questionnaire only you complete that provides you with insights into your own leadership styles and preferences. Individual profiling can be powerful both for learning more about yourself and enhancing your understanding of other people.
Which tool is best for me?
We’ll help you work this out through an initial consultation with one of our senior learning specialists.
Why do you offer so many different leadership assessments?
Simply because they all have unique value when used to pursue different outcomes. Not every tool is suitable or useful for every situation – we are accredited in a large number of tools to ensure we can tailor your program to deliver the best results for you and/or your organisation.
What costs are involved?
Each program will have different components, delivery methodologies and design requirements. Your investment will vary from program to program (except for our publicly run Dare to Lead™ program, which has standard published prices).
We pride ourselves on creating the best solution to deliver your desired learning outcomes. Pricing is provided when we understand your requirements and the specific details of your request.
Coaching costs take into account the level you work at within your organisation, the type of coaching you are looking for and the experience of the coach, as well as the number of coaching sessions you want.
How do you define quality of service?
Our values drive everything we do. We strive to understand our clients and serve them by meeting agreed objectives, building authentic relationships and doing the right things in the right way to make a contribution that matters.
How can I be sure that you’ll deliver the results I need?
We build metrics into every program we design and make sure you have evidence that demonstrates the program’s effectiveness.
In addition, our consultants, coaches, and facilitators have a long track record of delivering measurable results. We have a unique 4-step proprietary process developed over twenty years to help our clients achieve individual, team, and organisational transformation. Our people have published various articles and books that are held in high regard in the industry, and we have a reputation in the marketplace for excellence and a focus on results that is the envy of many firms.
